Frequently Asked Questions

The laser emits a selective wavelength absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle and its blood supply. This light converts to heat, damaging the follicle to prevent future hair growth.

Most clients find the treatment very tolerable, often describing it as the sensation of an elastic band flickering on the skin. To maximize your comfort, the E-LUXX (Diode Laser) device features integrated cooling technology.

While individual results vary based on hair thickness and skin color, we generally recommend 6–12 sessions. Because the laser is most effective when hair is in its active "anagen" growth stage, multiple treatments are necessary to capture all follicles.

The treatment is effective for all skin types, provided the hair color is darker than the skin tone. Please note that laser hair removal cannot treat white, grey, blonde, or pale red hair. A full assessment is provided during your initial consultation.

There is no downtime. You may experience slight redness similar to a mild sunburn for a few hours, but you can return to your normal activities immediately. We recommend avoiding hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 hours.

  • Shave the area approximately 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Avoid waxing, depilatory creams, or plucking for at least four weeks prior, as the hair follicle must be present for the laser to work.

  • Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and fake tan for at least two weeks before your session

  • Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds for at least 2 weeks prior.

  • Do not wax, pluck, or bleach the hair for 4 weeks before treatment, as the laser needs the hair follicle to be present.

Beyond the permanent reduction of unwanted hair, laser treatment significantly reduces ingrown hairs and eliminates the need for constant shaving or painful waxing.

There is no downtime, though you may see treated hairs shed over the following weeks. Facial hair typically takes 7–10 days to fall out, while body hair may take 2–3 weeks.

Consistency is key to seeing the best results. We offer bundles at 25% off for 3 sessions and 50% off for 6 sessions to make it more affordable for you to complete your full treatment course.

What should I do (and avoid) after my session? Because the laser uses heat to target the hair follicle, your skin will be a little sensitive for the first 24 to 48 hours. To get the best results and avoid irritation, please follow these simple steps:

  • Keep it Cool: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for at least 24 hours. Stick to lukewarm water when washing the treated area.

  • Sun Protection: This is the most important rule! Your skin will be more prone to sunburn. Keep the treated area out of direct sun and apply SPF 50+ sunscreen daily if the area is exposed.

  • Don't Scrub: Avoid exfoliating or using harsh body scrubs for at least 5 days after your session.

  • No Other Hair Removal: Between sessions, you must only shave. Do not wax, pluck, or use hair removal creams, as these pull the hair from the root and prevent the laser from working in your next session.

What is "Shedding" and when will it happen? About 1 to 2 weeks after your treatment, you might notice what looks like new hair growth. This is actually the dead hair being pushed out of the follicle—a process called "shedding." You can gently wipe the area with a washcloth in the shower to help these hairs fall away.

Can I apply makeup or deodorant?

  • Face: We recommend waiting 24 hours before applying heavy makeup. If you must use it, opt for a mineral-based powder.

  • Underarms: Avoid using deodorant for the first 24 hours, as the chemicals can irritate the open follicles.
